Wild clip from the slopes of Vail where a radar gun was used to clock the speed of a skier. The skier went into full tuck and reached a blistering 93mph as he whizzed past this buddy.
While reaching highway speeds at ski resort might sound like discouraged behavior, the folks who made this video asked a resort employee if there was a speed limit, this was their response:
“Before participating in this professional stunt we asked a yellow jacket if there was a speed limit, and he simply said…Is there Speed Limit!? In Control and Being Responsible.”
Remember folks, ski to your own abilities and never put others at risk. This skier was on a completely empty slope and only stood to injure himself if things went sideways. Be safe, wear a helmet and have fun.
