Enfield, New Hampshire — Following Whaleback Mountain’s announcement that they were in danger of not operating next season because of its ailing chairlift, the ski community has stepped up. In addition, two musicians will be hosting a concert at Whaleback Mountain.

Earlier this month, Whaleback Mountain announced that they will be hosting a benefit concert. The April 19th concert will be headlined by Zach Nugent, who’s a Grateful Dead cover artist. Also appearing is Sunshine Garcia Becker, a vocalist who specializes in rock and soul jams. Tickets for the concert, which are only $35, are still for sale and can be purchased here.

Yesterday, Whaleback Mountain provided an update on the capital campaign. They’ve raised over $180,000 for this chairlift refurbishment project. In addition, they’ve raised enough money to feel confident enough to sell season passes for the 2025-26 season. For adults, passes cost $225 (plus a $5 RFID card if you don’t have one already), which is a pretty solid deal in today’s ski industry. Season passes for next season are on sale now, and can be acquired here.

Whaleback concluded its season on March 16th with a pond skim and a rail jam. Whaleback stays busy during the offseason, with it being home to an 18 hole disc-golf course and summer day camps. In addition, they host Friday night parties at their lodge, which feature live music, delicious food, corn hole, bouncy houses, and more.
