It may be the middle of April, but the real skiers and snowboarders of Colorado know that the ski season isn’t over yet. Sure a whole bunch of ski resorts have already closed and even more are set to close this upcoming weekend, but that doesn’t mean we’re putting the storage wax on our skis and giving all of our ski gear a spring wash. It does mean we’re putting on some nice warm-weather wax and busing out our aloha shirts for spring days on the snow.
11 ski resorts are still open in Colorado as of Monday, April 14. Some, like Purgatory, are on weekend-only operations. Others will continue to run 7 days a week until they close, while a few don’t even have set closing dates yet. These are the 12 still open and when they’re scheduled to close.
