With the spring skiing season in full swing and pond skim events kicking off across the country, it’s an appropriate moment to remember one of the greatest water crossings of all time.

Ski resort pond skims are potent a mix of athleticism and entertainment where competitors not only need the skill to hydroplane across an extended length of water but the personality to win over the crowd and score big with the judges. It is safe to say World Para Alpine ski racer Rob Enigl is a gifted athlete and knows how to play to a crowd of thousands.

The following video was taken at pond skim event at Big Sky Ski Resort in Montana and Enigl’s bare chested approach not only won the day but will live on as one of the greatest moments in the history of pond skims.
