If you’re wondering how you shouldn’t go about dropping Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole, this video will serve as a good guide. This guy thought long and hard about his approach to the legendary run, but it clearly didn’t help.
Here’s a little tip that might help you if you ever wind up at the top of this couloir: have a plan before you enter. Working your way down the goat path before knowing what you’re going to do is a great way to get in over your head. Also having no forward momentum while jumping on skis is a great way to not stick the landing.
