Have not seen an official count but it would appear an attempt to beat the world record for simultaneous swimsuit skiers on March 14th at Palisades Tahoe fell short of their goal. The record stands at 1,008 skiers and snowboarders and was set in 2016 at Rosa Khutor Ski Resort in Sochi, Russia.
The event led by Chelsea Handler in partnership with Gold Bond did take place during a blizzard so that may have hampered turnout but there was still a solid contingent of skiers and snowboarders who braved the elements and got into their swimwear to take a lap.
