Here’s a helpful tip, if it’s a packed day on the mountain, make sure you fill up the chairlift. I get it, sometimes it’s hard to count to four or six or eight, but you’ve got to try your best or you’re going to upset everyone else in the lift line.
These guys at Arapahoe Basin really messed up the lift boarding process, winding up with just two people on one chair, an empty chair, and just one person on another chair. That’s nine spots that could have been filled but we’re empty because these people messed up. Obviously we don’t know the whole story as to why the chairs were empty, but it was enough to anger the crowd below.
In response, the waiting lift line booed and threw snowballs at the people on the lift. I’d argue it’s a pretty fair punishment, as long as everyone is sticking to snowballs and there aren’t any balls of ice in the mix.
