Park City ski crash.
Park City ski crash.

It’s time for everyone’s favorite game, who’s at fault for this ski collision?

Skier Parker Mayne shared this clip from a day at Park City where he collides with a woman, loses a ski, and sends her flying. Usually we say the downhill skier has the right of way, but who has the right of way if one person is heading uphill and one person is heading downhill?

I would say realistically that Mayne is to blame for this one, and he acknowledges that himself in the comments. He points out that he’s the more experienced skier and should have avoided this accident. Either way, both people were okay and were very polite to each other after the crash. Good on both Parker and the other skier for staying calm and kind.
