Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the surrounding area have been absolutely hammered with snowfall over the past five days, with 69 inches landing on the iconic Wyoming resort. Just the last 24 hours have brought another 11 inches to the mountain. Today will certainly be an epic one.
“6 AM- Rise and shine, Jackson Hole. The welcome onslaught of fresh February snow continued yesterday with an additional 11 inches of high-grade blower landing over the past 24 hours. Gusty west winds got 4 of those inches overnight with which to etch-a-sketch Rendezvous Mountain into another clean canvas. Come make your mark as morning sunbeams poke through to display the tremendous terrain transformations we’ve undergone. Clouds will move back in by this afternoon ahead of another crystal pulse this evening. Expect mild temperatures to reach near 20 at the summit and the low 30s in Teton Village. Now, keep those goggles down, or they might see in your eyes that you’re caught in a deep-powder delirium. And you wanna listen close to those little voices even if no one else is hearing em’.” -Lege, JHMR Snow Report for 2/19
