Glenwood, New York — It’s Super Bowl Weekend, but not many people are stoked about the matchup.
After another game where the refs bailed them out, the Kansas City Chiefs will be aiming to three-peat against Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Many hoped it would be the Bills in the Super Bowl, but that’s not what happened. The Bills lost heartbreakingly to the Chiefs, and the people around Buffalo are reeling from another devastating defeat for a team that’s had to experience quite a few of them.
However, one local New York ski area has been supporting the Bills this week in a couple of ways to help them bounce back next season.
This past Monday, Kissing Bridge Resort started a Bills Bounce Back Week. Each day, the ski resort has been offering discounted lift tickets. The first four days offered lift tickets of Bills players’ numbers, like $17 on Monday for NFL MVP Josh Allen, and is offering $12 discounts on lift tickets for this weekend in honor of Bills legendary quarterback Jim Kelly.

The most enticing activity being offered by Kissing Bridge right now is the chance to throw snowballs at a few foes. Skiers and riders are being offered the chance to throw snowballs at Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid cutouts. This costs $1 per throw, with the proceeds going toward Bills’ Tight End Dalton Kincaid (Go Utes) charity that helps kids with autism.
In its first season under new ownership, the New York ski resort has benefited from some lake-effect snowfall this winter, resulting in excellent conditions. Currently, Kissing Bridge has 37 of its 39 trails open, and seven of its nine lifts are operating.
