Cheers to Ober Mountain in Tennessee that is offering free skiing and snowboarding for students Monday through Thursday for the rest of the month.

All Kindergarten through 12th grade students in Tennessee are eligible for a free lift beginning today Monday, January 13th. Participating students must be accompanied by a parent, have a valid Tennessee-issued ID and complete a minor liability form.

Tennessee Kids Ski Free at Ober Mountain:

Ober Mountain is having a great winter season and wants to introduce families to the joy of winter sports. All Kindergarten through 12th grade students in Tennessee are eligible for a free area lift ticket for snow skiing and snowboarding.

  • The promotion runs Monday through Thursday, January 13 to 30, 2025.
  • To participate, parents must accompany their students to the resort, present a valid Tennessee issued ID, and bring/sign a completed Minor Liability Form. Students 12-to-16 years old must have an adult on property during their ski session. Students under 11 years old must be accompanied on the slopes by a ticketed & equipped parent or guardian 18 years or older.
  • This promotion is for the Ski Area Ticket only, and does not include rental equipment or lessons. Ober Mountain offers lessons and complete equipment & clothing rentals.
  • The slopes hours Mon thru Thu are 12p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Night Session from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
