Hot on the heels of a tentative agreement between the The Park City Ski Patrol Union and Vail Resorts that brought a crippling weeks long strike to an end, Keystone Ski Patrol Union is entering contract negotiation with Vail’s lawyers.

Keystone ski patrol voted to unionize last year and this will be their first union contract. Keystone Ski Patrol Union representatives were in a boardroom yesterday working out the details and are seeking similar wage increases ($23 per hour) and contracts as The Park City Ski Patrol Union. Negotiations have been cordial so far and there are no planned strikes or threats against Vail Resorts.

Breckenridge Ski Patrol Union is next up to the negotiation table with Vail Resorts as their current contract which was penned in 2021 expires on May 15th. We will be sure to update as more information becomes available.
