Skiing, sailing, and snowboarding around Antarctica.

Victor and Xavier De Le Rue are a power-sibling-duo, both freeride snowboarding legends. Xavier De Le Rue is a four time winner of the Snowboardcross World Championships, has multiple first descents, and won the overall title in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 Freeride World Tour. Victor De Le Rue is right there with him, winning the Freeride World Tour three times, including during the 2024 season. Xavier’s daughter, Mila De Le Rue, is an up and coming freeride skier, winning multiple Junior Freeride events throughout her career.

The three of them went down the Antarctica to hunt down some massive ski and snowboard lines, traveling the coast of the icy southern continent by sailboat. Mila discusses her experience through a series of diary entries, as she sees a proper initiation into the world of big mountain free ride skiing.

Of a Lifetime” a film by Jérôme Tanon, is a celebration of discovery, adventure, and the passing of the torch to the next generation against the breathtaking backdrop of Antarctica. It chronicles the renowned De Le Rue family’s journey as Xavier, Victor, and 18-year-old Mila sail across the Drake Passage to ride the unimaginably steep lines of the icy continent. Mila’s initiation into big mountain free riding is captured through personal diaries, showcasing her growth as she faces her fears and embraces the challenge.
