The Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team and partner Stifel Financial have announced the new Stifel HERoic Cup as a part of the orgasnization’s HERoic initiative. The new Stifel HERoic Cup will be given to the woman athlete who’s earned the most World Cup points throughout the three women’s North American FIS Alpine World Cup stops at Killington, Mont Tremblant, and Beaver Creek.
The winner of the HERoic Cup will be awarded $50,000 at a ceremony following the Stifel Birds of Prey race in Beaver Creek, in addition to the HERoic Cup trophy. Winners will have the money deposited into a Stifel investment account with the options to withdraw, leave it invested, or combine the options.
Six races are eligible for earning points towards the Stifel HERoic Cup, including the giant slalom and slalom at the Stifel Killington Cup between November 30 and December 1, two giant slalom races at the Tremblant World Cup between December 7 and 8, and the downhill and super-G races at the Stifel Birds of Prey between December 14 and 15.
