Time to get fired up if you are an Alta skier (tough luck snowboarders) as the iconic Utah resort is opening up tomorrow at 10:00am. Terrain will be limited to Collins Gulch for the first day of Alta’s 87th season of operations and they are recommending “expert skiers only given the current conditions.”

Friday, November 22nd
Lift Hours & Terrain
- Collins: 10am–4:30pm
- Wildcat: 10am–4pm
- Access to the Albion Basin through the Sugarloaf corridor
We recommend expert skiers only given the current conditions. There will be limited groomed terrain available.
Lift Tickets & Passes
- Season Pass offices will be open from 8am–4:30pm
- Ikon, Ikon Base Plus and Mountain Collective passes will be accepted on Opening Day
- Lift tickets can only be purchased at ticket windows

- Baldy Brews
- Alf’s Restaurant (limited menu)
Rentals & Retail
- Alta Ski Shop – Wildcat
- Alta Ski Shop – Albion
Parking
- Parking reservations will not be required on Opening Day
- Parking reservations will be required starting December 13th
Transportation
- The UTA Ski Bus will not operate on Opening Weekend
- Please remember to carpool
