A family in Orange County, California where shocked at what they found after they let their dog out in the morning and it chased a cat up a tree. When they went to investigate the treed feline they discovered it no ordinary pet, it was a mountain lion.
The family called the Tustin Police Department who responded to the scene along with multiple other departments who tranquilized the big cat. The sedated mountain lion was then relocated to the Cleveland National Forest by trained professionals.

The Tustin Police Department shared these photos of the incident and wants to remind the general public that mountain lions are dangerous and should never be approached.
