Usually making contact with a rock midway down a cliff jump is something to be avoided at all costs but this dude did it intentionally. It took Ryan Bean three attempts before getting the perfect trajectory for a touch and go off a rock to send himself into a front flip.

At a glance this is an incredibly dangerous jump but it should also be taken into account that although the landing area looks generous, the only place deep enough to safely enter the water was about 3 foot diameter.

“Kong drop to fronty. No room for error on this, can’t tell in the video, but the landing area in the water is also very very small, slanted walls coming down from both sides and rocks, probably about a 3 foot landing zone. Also I know I’m gonna get comments saying that “this is gonna snap my leg” or “it looks so painful” the impact actually felt perfect. So hyped how this worked out.
