SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado – The Summit County Sheriff’s Office of Summit County, Colorado, shared a report of a marathon trainer like no other to their weekly Justice Files this past week.

The office had apparently received a call related to a man running shoeless and shirtless along Loveland Pass in the middle of a blizzard. Early that day, the Dillon Police Department had made contact the same man, and he explained he was training for a marathon and preferred to be shoeless. Deputies checked Loveland Pass to check in on the man due to the weather, but he was nowhere to be found.

Several other wild reports occurred between October 28 and November 3, including a man who stood completely nude by his glass door for at least 10 minutes while extremely high on THC, unknowingly exposing himself to three women and a juvenile. When deputies made contact with the man, he made it clear that he had no idea people could see him and was given a stern warning to keep his curtains closed if he wished to be unclothed.

Additionally, a woman contacted the Sheriff’s Office after witnessing two men appearing to start a fire on one of Keystone’s live webcams. When deputies made contact, it became clear that the “fire” was just lights on snowmaking equipment. Another incident involved an improperly dressed couple in a hot tub at a family resort after hours.

The Justice Files is a weekly summary of notable police activity that aims to inform, educate, engage and protect the local community and visitors alike through transparency. This information is shared to develop and encourage community involvement and foster a sense of security and trust in the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.” – Summit County Sheriff’s Office
