Mikko Rehnberg in "Shift"

Around a year ago, Finnish snowboarder Mikko Rehnberg stepped away from competition with the national team to focus on street snowboarding. He was a top rider in Finland, winning multiple national competitions in both half pipe and slopestyle. But he wanted to put together a street snowboarding movie, and that’s what SHIFT is.

SHIFT, filmed and edited by Arttu Heikkinen, features Mikko Rehnberg, Petrus Saikkonen, Rasmus Rönkä, and Karoliina Rehnberg.

“”Shift” is Mikko Rehnberg’s interpretation of street snowboarding with friends through the visual eye of Arttu Heikkinen. After his first major film project, Mikko’s passion for snowboarding “shifted” from competition to filming. The unique street locations opened new possibilities for tricks and have allowed Mikko to really express his way of riding.
