Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Colorado has expanded on their parking reservation system for the 2024/25 ski season, announcing plans to release reservations to the public starting on November 1.

Parking reservations will become available at 10:00am MST on November 1st, available through the Park A-Basin website. Reservations will be required for 48 days throughout the entire season on weekends and holidays from December 21 through May 4. The area state’s that the parking reservations exists to reduce congestion while limiting 5:00am wakeup calls.

Simply, we’re doing this to get you to here, parked, and out on the hill faster, easier, and with less stress. This reservation system on weekends and holidays will reduce congestion by limiting the number of vehicles that drive up Loveland Pass. It will also reduce the number of cars that are inevitably turned away on these days when our parking fills up. Our goal is to lessen your 5 A.M. wake up calls on your weekend because you’re scared you won’t be able to ski or ride at A-Basin.

Parking reservations will cost $20 per car with vehicles that have less than four passengers. Cars with four or more people will be able to park for free, though will still require reservations. Additionally, those who purchased season parking passes will still be required to make a reservation. All lots on the mountain will require a reservation, even those furthest from the lifts.

Again, the reservation system begins at 10:00am MST on November 1st. More spaces become available at 2:00pm MST every Monday beginning on December 16th.

Thank you for working with us and your patience as we will continuously work to make this program as efficient as possible. We believe the best days at The Basin are ahead of us, we hope you join us in this journey.”
