STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colorado – Thru hikers, if you’re planning to hit the Appalachian Trail, the Continental Divide Trail, or the Pacific Crest Trail, make sure to check out the new sponsorship program coming from Big Agnes. The Colorado-based backpacking company is supporting three adventures as they each tackle one of America’s major thru hikes.
The Big Agnes 2025 Thru Hike Sponsorship aims to support those with a passion for the outdoors while promoting environmental consciousness and responsible trail use. It’s not just about people who enjoy the outdoors, it’s about the people who care and advocate for the outdoors.

Big Agnes encourages those who plan to hike one of the three major thru hikes in the United States in 2025, are committed to Leave No Trace principles and environmental stewardship, embrace diversity and inclusion on the trail, and are enthusiastic about the concept of sharing their journey on Instagram/TikTok to apply. Individuals must be 18 years or older.
Chosen candidates will receive full gear kits from Big Agnes, including a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpack, and apparel. They will also receive ongoing support as they take on the trail.
