Heads up if you’re interested in owning a piece of Pennsylvania ski history as Whitetail Resort just announced they will be auctioning off 30 Jiblet double-passenger lift chairs and 17 trail signs. Proceeds from the auction will go towards the EpicPromise Employee Foundation which is designed to provide Vail Resorts employees with pathways to stability and access. The auction kicks off on October 12th and closes on the 13th. To be clear, Whitetail will not be shipping chairs to winning bidders. All chairs will have to be picked up on location at Whitetail Resort. Good luck!
“Whitetail Resort is selling double ski-chairs and various trail signs. The double chairs are approximately 80lbs and 106″x 45″. The trail sign dimensions are 12″x 71″. Important Notice: Ski Chair Condition and Chair Number
Please note that these chairs are vintage and are not in “working” condition. Each chair varies in condition and may be missing pieces. Please review the chairs carefully before placing a bid. Also, each chair will have a “lot number” designated to it. These numbers DO NOT represent the actual chair number itself; they are only representing chair inventory. For example, if you bid on “Vintage Whitetail Double – #7”, this means you are bidding on a random ski chair we have assigned as the 7th auction item, NOT the actual ski chair #7 from the ski chair lift.

Chair/Trail Sign Pickup
If you win a chair/trail sign, pick-up will be located at Whitetail Resort. Specific location and instructions will be provided after you have secured your winning bid and payment has been fulfilled.
We will NOT ship or hold equipment. Please ensure you or a family member/friend will be available to pick up your chair/trail sign at either date below during the pickup window times:

- Monday, October 28 from 8am to 6pm
