Killington, Vermont – After getting some major acts for the past couple of Killington Cups, more big musical artists are coming to Vermont this November 29-December 1. The weekend will include performances from DJ Ross One, Matt Quinn of Mt. Joy, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Eve 6 on the Kona Big Wave Stage.
DJ Ross One will perform on Friday night following the bib presentation and fireworks. He’s been a DJ for many famous events, like the Grammys after parties and Paris Fashion Week. In addition, he’s toured with Kanye West and Rihanna.
In between the first and second runs of the Giant Slalom, there will be a live acoustic performance by Matt Quinn, the lead singer of Mt. Joy. They’re known for songs like “Highway Queen,” “Silver Lining,” “Dirty Love,” and “Astrovan.”
After the conclusion of the GS, Fitz and the Tantrums will perform. Fitz and the Tantrum’s songs have nearly four billion streams, with “Hand Clap,” “Out of My League,” “The Walker,” and “MoneyGrabber” being their most popular tracks.
After the Fitz and the Tantrums concert, Killington will be hosting a panel at the Snowshed Lodge on stand-out women in the ski industry, which will be followed by an exclusive movie (which has yet to be announced). This is part of U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s HERoic initiative, which was launched in 2022 to support women in the world of skiing. There will also be a World Cup Rebels Après Ski party at the Pickle Barrel Nightclub from 4-7 p.m., with the proceeds going to the World Cup Dreams Foundation.
Following the first run of Sunday’s race, Eve 6 will perform. The alternative rock trio are known for their albums “Eve 6” and “Horrorscope.” They’re known for tracks like “Inside Out,” “Here’s to the Night,” and “Think Twice.”
“Watching world-class skiing isn’t the only reason to attend the Stifel Killington Cup,” said Amy Laramie, Killington Resort’s Director of Brand Marketing and Events. “I am really looking forward to this year’s lineup of music, with high-energy bands that will keep the party going all weekend long.”
