Mountain biking down a steep rock face.

Mountain biking isn’t quite like skiing, where you can just ride anywhere with snow. Typically mountain biking requires an actual trail, thought out and built up. But there are plenty of people pushing what’s possible on two tires. British cyclist Brendan Fairclough and crew is included in that bunch.

He doesn’t specify exactly where this rock face is, but it’s pretty remarkable. The mountain biking itself is wild, but the hike to the top, with a bike on his back, seems near equally difficult. Of course the biking itself is pretty slow going. That doesn’t mean it isn’t incredible to watch or hard to understand how difficult it is to ride.
