JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming – Corbet’s Couloir is a place of legends. Skiers and snowboarders that send it can brag about their success, while those who fail hopefully have some funny video to share. We’ve seen plenty of tactics for skiing the run, from slips to jump turns, full drops to full flops. But it’s probably impossible to really know how you’ll go about it until you stare down the entry yourself.
There are plenty of approaches, and if you have the ability to ski it, you’ll likely find yourself choosing one of these. As always with anything like this, don’t be a hero, ski what you have the ability to ski, and keep yourself in one piece.
