Jackson Hole’s Corbets Couloir is internationally famous for its extremely steep entry point that has served as a proving ground for generations of skiers looking to test their skills on the some of the toughest inbound terrain in the world.
Lesser known but just as intimidating is S&S Couloir located right next to Corbets. Jackson Hole local Owen Leeper has tangoed with S&S in the winter and decided to check out what it looks like without snow:
“It’s pretty crazy what some snow can do to transform a line to make it skiable.” -Owen Leeper
Here’s a longer video of Owen riding around Jackson Hole. Owen exemplifies the stereotype that Jackson Hole is home to some of the best big mountain skiers in the world. This guy can rip.
