Plymouth, New Hampshire — It’s been another busy offseason at the resurgent Tenney Mountain.

Yesterday, Tenney Mountain Resort detailed the snowmaking upgrades that are coming this winter. These improvements include over five miles of new snowmaking pipe on the Hornet side of the mountain, replacing the diesel snowmaking pumps with a more environmentally friendly system, a mid-mountain pump house, and adding 125 HKD snowmaking guns. With this addition, they’ll have 200 snowmaking guns at the ski resort. This is a big flipping deal, as the Hornet side was without sufficient snowmaking infrastructure this past winter.

These aren’t the only improvements planned for Tenney this offseason. Other projects include widening trails to their original length, creating new glades, reclassifying trails to create more biodiversity, and revamping trail signage.

If you’re looking to visit Tenney Mountain this summer, they have an 18-hole disc golf course open daily. In addition, the Backcountry Bar & Grille, situated in their main base lodge, is open Thursdays through Saturdays.
