GETTYSBURG, Pennsylvania – The Gettysburg National Military Park is seeking assistance from the public in relation to a vandalism that occurred between February 13 and February 19 of this past year. According to a press release from the park, the vandalism took place in the northern section of the battlefield at the Benner barn.

History of Gettysburg National Military Park

The exact nature of the vandalism is not being revealed, but those who might have any information are encouraged to provide it to investigators. If you were near or around the Benner farm between February 13 and 19, 2024, or if you have any other information, you’re encouraged to contact the park or crimestoppers. You can remain anonymous.

Anyone who has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Adams County Crimestoppers hotline at 717-334-8057. Tips can also be submitted to accrimestoppers.com or via email to the park at GETT_Superintendent@nps.gov. A reward is being offered.
