Aspen's love letter to skiing.
Aspen's love letter to skiing.

ASPEN, Colorado – No matter your thoughts on Aspen Snowmass, you can’t deny that it’s a legendary location. Maybe you love the mountains, maybe you dislike the cost or attitude in the surrounding town. But Aspen is iconic, and their recent love letter to their mountains, and to the general sport of skiing, seems to represent that.

“Storm chasers, art lovers, mountaineers, foodies, athletes, and visionaries of every kind—a collection of colorful characters have congregated in the mountains of Aspen Snowmass for decades, living out their dreams and creating an unparalleled community. Classic and quirky, it’s here that we charge steep lines and craft new ideas.

Whether you’re hiking and skiing the legendary Highland Bowl, engaging with global thought-leaders at the Aspen Institute, or taking in a Michelin star meal—world-class terrain, art, and culture continue to characterize this place. And so, we keep doing things our way. For the love of this place, we honor the past. For the love of our planet, we take the long view. And for the love of community, we celebrate joy.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are both currently scheduled to open on November 28, while Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk are scheduled to open on December 14. The Aspen season pass is currently for sale, with the Premier Pass, which gives unlimited access to all four mountains (plus a complimentary Ikon Base Pass), costs $2,974.
