SEATTLE, Washington – Getting a nice pair of booties for the skis season is a great move. Comfy and convenient, they make the trip to the mountain, the trip home, and all of the après activities in between so much more fun. But it’s often too hot for booties come springtime. Flip flops work in this case, but they’re rarely good on snow, no matter the temperature, and they aren’t made for skiing. LINE Skis has made a pair of slides designed for our pre and post skiing activities in warmer weather, the Slide 1.0.
“For the days when the Apres Booties are just a bit too warm, the Slide 1.0 is here. Complete with a Z-Pull Nylon Strap, Quilted Top, and a Custom Moldable Sole, you can imagine how good slipping your foot into the Slide 1.0 after a long day on the hill will feel. Available in Black and Khaki.“
I obviously haven’t actually put my foot in these yet, so this isn’t a review, but these do look amazing. The Z-Pull nylon strap fixes the common problem of slides falling off, while the quilted top keeps the shoes comfier than a typical nylon-strapped sandal. And the custom moldable sole is a huge must with any flip flop/slide.
The LINE Slide 1.0 is available in black and khaki (khaki is currently out of stock) for $64.95.
