ALASKA – Moose are massive animals, and while they aren’t typically agressive, they can be pretty scary. Scary to everyone that isn’t a house cat, of course. For some reason the small balls of fur always seem willing to stand up to things they shouldn’t be standing up to, and the cat in this video is no different. It’s a good thing the moose was just curious, and that the cat mostly minded its own business.
This video appears to be taken in a typical Alaskan backyard, where moose are certainly plentiful. There are around 175,000-200,000 moose in the entire state, the most of any state in the U.S.A. Meanwhile in Maine, the state with the most moose in the lower 48, there’s only around 60,000-70,000 moose. Of course, Alaska is about 19 times larger than the state of Maine.
