FRANCE – The Tour de France just came to an end on Sunday, with some of the greatest cycling we’ve ever seen taking place. Riders battled and fought, both other riders and their own bodies, to make it to the finish. These guys burnt thousands of calories every day throughout the race, cooking on the bike for hours on end. So it begs to question, what does a Tour de France rider eat in a day? EF Pro Cycling gave us a look into the diet of Polka Dot Jersey winner Richard Carapaz and the rest of the team.
“RICHIE RICHIE RICHIE! Join team chef Owen Brandy for a day of what’s needed for our riders to perform at the highest level, and to reach lofty goals like the POLKA DOT JERSEY!!!“
