OKLAHOMA, United States – You don’t typically think of GoPro cameras when it comes to filming big, Hollywood movies, but the new ‘Twisters’ movie starring Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones will have plenty of scenes shot with the small action cameras. This is not the first big movie shot with GoPros, and it probably won’t be the last, but it’s cool to see how their minds went towards these little, quite affordable cameras to capture intimate tornado scenes.

Twisters, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell + Anthony Ramos, highlights the storm chasers as they to try to predict, + possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes. We equipped the production team with HERO11 Black + HERO11 Black Mini cameras to help fully immerse the audience in the world of tornado chasing. See how our cameras were put to the test, capturing the actors as they filmed this action packed movie in Oklahoma.
