Protect Our Winters

LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah – Protect Our Winters (POW) announced a $400,000 climate donation match yesterday, stating that two donors have committed to matching new donations up to the number over the next four weeks.

POW announced the match with the help of professional rock climber and mountaineer Conrad Anker as he was roped up on the side of a cliff in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. The organization points towards the importance of the 2024 elections, calling them a “make or break” for the climate.

Elections in 2024 are considered a “make or break” for climate. POW’s most significant barriers to driving more progress in 2024 are urgency and resources.

Donations can be made on the Protect Our Winters website, offering one time donations or recurring donation options. Donations will be matched through the first week of July, so act quickly!

Here are the top 5 ways your donation will directly make an impact:

🗳️Stoke The Vote
📜Pass climate legislation
