CARSON CITY, Nevada – Carson City, Nevada, is looking for two hikers willing to go from the steps of the Carson City capitol to Canada on the Pacific Crest Scenic Trail (PCT) through the newly minted Capital to Tahoe Trail, offering $5,000 to those chosen for the adventure.

The trail runs for 1,600 miles, and participants will have to complete the entire hike, heading into Canada, throughout the challenge. Experienced hikers who are willing to push their limits while documenting the entire experience along the PCT are encouraged to apply.

Those who wish to apply can do so here, submitting their contact information, age, social media accounts, and a 60 second video explaining why they think they’d be a good fit for this project. The deadline for applications is May 31 at 5 p.m. PST, so get on it if you’re interested!
