YELLOWSTONE, Wyoming – Wildlife adventure company Yellowstone Wolf Tracker shared incredible footage of a wolf pup’s interaction with a bull elk. Captured by Wolf Tracker guide Michael Sypniewski, the video shows what is almost certainly the first time the wolf had seen that large of an animal.

As Yellowstone Wolf Tracker points out, the video definitely makes you think about the pup’s future. How could a moment like this impact the animal’s life? I don’t want to get too deep with it, obviously it’s not going to change much about the way the wolf acts as it grows older, but it is cool to think about.
