
It wasn’t a pretty winter for the Northeast, but ski resorts in this part of the continent are resilient. Thanks to a few storms over the past few weeks, ski resorts across the Northeast have been able to remain open into the middle of April.
With the season nearly over at most Northeast mountains, we’ve compiled a list of projected closing dates across the region. For the most up-to-date information on these ski resorts’ operations, please check their websites.
New Jersey
- Big SNOW- To infinity and beyond (Open year-round).
New York
- Belleayre: April 14th (Reopening Friday)
- Gore: April 14th (Reopening Friday)
- Whiteface: April 14th (Reopening Friday)
Vermont
- Bolton Valley: April 14th (Closed on Friday due to rainstorm, but reopening on Saturday)
- Jay Peak: May 5th (Potentially longer if conditions permit)
- Killington- As late as possible (Daily until May, then weekends usually until the end of May or early June).
- Mad River Glen: April 14th
- Mount Snow: April 21st
- Okemo: April 14th
- Smugglers’ Notch: April 14th
- Stowe: April 21st
- Stratton: April 14th
- Sugarbush: May 5th
New Hampshire
- Bretton Woods: April 15th
- Loon Mountain: April 15th
- Waterville Valley: April 13th (Closed Friday due to rain)
- Wildcat: April 21st
Maine
- Saddleback: April 14th
- Sunday River: April 28th
- Sugarloaf: May 5th
Nova Scotia
- Cape Smokey: April 14th
Ontario
- Searchmont Resort: April 21st (Reopening Friday)
Quebec
- La Réserve: April 14th (Reopening Saturday)
- Le Massif: April 14th
- Mont Edouard: April 21st (Weekends only, reopening Friday)
- Mont St.-Mathieu: April 14th
- Mont. Sutton: April 14th
- Mont-Ste-Anne: April 21 (Open daily to April 14th, then reopening for one final weekend)
- Parc du Mont-Comi: April 28th (Weekends only after April 14th)
- Sommet St-Sauveur: May 20th
- Tremblant: April 14th
- Val-d’Irène: April 14th (Reopening Friday)
- Vallée Bleue: April 27th (Only open Saturdays from here on out)
- Val Saint-Côme: April 27th (Weekends only)
