JAPAN – You should probably know who Max Palm is. It’s alright if you don’t, but you probably should. He’s the Swedish skier that threw the Freeride World Tour’s first double backflip at Baqueira-Beret during his rookie season. Then he did it again just a few weeks later, at Kicking Horse.

This video definitely focuses on the aesthetic more than the skiing itself, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t sweet. Is it kind of weird? Sure, but in a good way, ya know? Plus, Max Palm is just a joy to watch on skis. I don’t know what it is, exactly, but he’s doing something right. It’s three and a half minutes of shredding around Japan. What more could you ask for?
