It’s Freeride World Tour highlight real season. That means that, though this year’s competitions have sadly come to an end, we now get to watch some killer videos highlighting the best moments from the season. The best runs, the best tricks, the best cliffs, and, of course, the best wipeouts.
Competitors certainly seemed to push the limits with this year’s competitions, but that doesn’t mean there was a lack of major crashes. From Marcus Goguen’s near uphill wipeout at Fieberbrunn Pro to Martin Bender’s tree slam at the Kicking Horse Golden BC Pro, this highlight real is sure to entertain.
I think my personal favorite is going to have to be Tim Schröder’s wipeout from YETI XTREME Verbier. How he manages to finish riding to the bottom of the hill without really stopping after slamming into multiple rocks is far beyond me.
