When I first came across this Instagram clip I was struck by the uniformity of the tracks and thought it was from some very well behaved cat-skiing group with extreme adherence to powder etiquette but no, this is the work of just one man.
Peter Ausserharmerhof lives on a farm in Südtirol in Northeast Italy and when he’s not tending his herd the dude likes to ski. When it snows, he has the place all to himself and lets just say he gets a lot of enjoyment out of his property.
This work of art took him 4 days with one hour of skiing a day to complete. Its only 100 meters of vert but its all to his own. Short but sweet, rinse and repeat. Saluti Peter!
