The world’s most popular celebrity is currently trekking across Australia. This weekend, Taylor Swift is continuing her Eras Tour in Sydney at Accor Stadium. A long time ago though, Taylor Swift played at smaller venues, including at an Australian ski resort.

Back in July of 2023, Thredbo Resort shared a throwback video from when TSwift performed at the 2009 CMC Rocks The Snowys concert. Due to Taylor’s current tour stops in the Land Down Under, Thredbo Resort decided to share it again on their socials. The video includes a totally not photoshopped video of Taylor shredding there.

Before her show at Thredbo, Taylor described her excitement about performing in Australia to the Country Music Channel:

“It’s been unbelievable, getting to come over to Australia and play shows. It’s beyond anything I could have ever dreamed about.”

She wasn’t quite at that stratospheric level during that time as she is now, but Taylor still had hit songs at that point like Our Song and Love Story. With Taylor’s popularity as huge as it is right now, it seems unlikely we’ll see her perform at a ski resort soon.
