Plymouth, New Hampshire- When it comes to the top colleges/universities to go to if you want to shred a lot, Plymouth State University comes to mind. The university is located a short distance from multiple great ski resorts, including Tenney Mountain. Each year, PSU has a ski day, where they give students a chance to ski at a mountain for free. This year, they decided to rent out Tenney Mountain for Valentine’s Day.
Tenney’s comeback season has been impressive. They spent a lot of dough this past offseason improving their snowmaking network, renovating the chairlifts, adding disc golf to its offseason lineup, and cleaning up their trails. In addition, Dan Egan is now the General Manager of the New Hampshire ski resort. I got to visit there earlier this season and will write a post about my trip there when I get more than ten minutes of free time.
