UNITED STATES – The upcoming ten days are looking to be a phenomenal conclusion to the month of February for several ski areas throughout the western United States, and who better to run you threw it all than the great meteorologist Chris Tomer.

Specifically in the Pacific Northwest, things are looking very good. Mount Baker is eyeing a potential huge 86 inches of snowfall throughout the week, and Stevens Pass (with a little less) is forecasted with 62 inches. Meanwhile, in Canada, Whistler could see up to 51 inches of snowfall and Revelstoke could see 29″. In California, Mammoth will continue its rather deep stretch with another 12 inches, while Heavenly (and presumably the other Tahoe area mountains) could see right around 13.

The Wasatch Range could be another winner from these upcoming weather patterns, with a potential 30 inches touching down at Alta. In Colorado, Crested Butte is looking to be the statewide winner with 26 inches forecasted, but many mountains throughout the rest of the state could see well over a foot.

Meteorologist Chris Tomer has spent the past 20 years forecasting mountain weather for skiers and climbers. Tomer combines his experience and knowledge in weather forecasting with his love for the outdoors, providing some of the best mountain weather forecasts for those hoping to plan around the weather for upcoming outdoor activities. You can find daily weather updates on both his YouTube channel and his blog.
