One of the newest ski resorts in Utah is Cherry Peak. Opened back in 2015, Cherry Peak Resort has become known for its family-friendly atmosphere, minimal crowds, rustic base lodge, and night skiing.

A few weeks ago, Ski Utah released the latest episode of the Fixed Grip Chronicles, which is a series that dives into the lesser-known ski areas in the state.

The short film interviews various workers at the ski resort, along with locals who shred there. They discuss the challenges of operating a new ski resort, along with what the place has to offer. The film also focuses on the role that Dustin Hanson, the Operations Manager has had in making what Cherry Peak is today.

So if you’re looking for a less crowded place to check out in Utah this winter, Cherry Peak is worth a gander.
