If you want to learn how to make immaculate turns while skiing, it’s a good time to start taking notes.
This week, Lindsey Vonn shared a video of her and fellow U.S. Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety getting some turns in at Deer Valley Resort. It turns out that Lindsey and Ted randomly saw each other at the top of the mountain, and decided to create a viral TikTok. The video shows them ripping the Tycoon trail, and ending up at the base of the Sultan Express. It starts as a typical carving session, then you can tell that the competitive instincts kicked in for both of them. The moves they pull off in this video couldn’t be pulled off by 99.99% percent of the skiing population, so it’s fascinating to see how they can pull off these turns.
Also shoutout to the videographer for being able to keep up with the two of them, which is no easy feat.
Both Ligety and Vonn are regulars at the pristine Utha ski resort, so it’s cool to see these two US skiing legends link up for some quality turns.
