An avalanche alone is plenty dangerous for skiers and snowboarders, but an avalanche that’s able to pull riders off of a massive cliff takes things to the next level.
Very little information is available on the conditions of this avalanche. The video was posted to Spanish aggregator ABC Avalanchas with a caption that roughly translates to (according to Google Translate) “What’s below? A small 15m wall… But nothing happens, we are at the ski center..“
Based on tagged accounts and the comments, it seems as though this occurred in Russia, possibly at or near Gazprom Mountain Resort. Unbelievably, according to one of the commenters who’s a fishing guide and freeride guide based on his Instagram bio (and may have been close to or at the incident), neither of the people pulled off the wall were injured.
