This short film was produced by Walt Disney Productions in 1941 and has historical significance as its the first cartoon to star the now famous Goofy Holler. If you didn’t notice straight away, Goofy’s home mountain Sugar Bowl up in Tahoe. Walt Disney himself had an interest in Sugar Bowl ski area and one of the peaks at Sugar Bowl is named Mt. Disney after him. Animators based the lodge in the cartoon off of actual pictures of Sugar Bowl’s lodge at the time. Love this
