Killington Ski Resort in Vermont just posted this video of a skier exiting their K-1 Express Gondola and skiing down to North Ridge Quad. While terrain is limited being that its early season, it looks pretty fun. The World Cup is coming to Killington on November 25th so I’m sure they are working hard to get course all set to go but in the mean time skiers and snowboarders have this descent to enjoy until more of the mountain opens up. Check it out:

SNOW REPORTER’S UPDATE: November 13, 2023 – 07:00 am

Hey there, Beast Fans. We hope you are enjoying the extra runtime down to North Ridge via Upper Great Northern, but you will still need to take the Peak Walkway stairs back up to the K-1 Gondola and download to the base for a little while longer.

The grooming team headed out last night to smooth out Rime and Reason so head out early this morning for fresh corduroy. Upper East Fall was not groomed overnight, consider that expert terrain only.

Our snowmaking team will continue to make snow when possible as we work to go top to bottom, open more terrain and get ready for the Stifel Killington Cup. Have fun out there!

Be aware, our open terrain is suitable for advanced and intermediate skiers and riders only.

The K-1 Express Gondola will spin from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (last ride up at 3:00 p.m.) and North Ridge Quad will spin from 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Last run-down Rime and Reason is at 3:30 p.m. While we can now ski and ride down to North Ridge, we’ll use the Peak Walkway to get back to the Gondola – yes walking is required. All skiers and riders will download the K-1 Gondola at the end of the day.

Superstar will not open to the public until after the event. Please be aware of active grooming and snowmaking and do not hike in that area.
