WATCH: Teton Brown Takes On Narrow Lines In Jackson Hole's Sidecountry

Amid a historic season at Jackson Hole, all-mountain skier Tristan “Teton” Brown decided to send it to the moon (figuratively not literally). In the just-released film HYPER FOCUS, Teton goes throughout Jackson Hole’s sidecountry to take on the toughest lines. Throughout the process, he had to push past his comfort zone and implement what he had learned from the past few years of living and shredding in Jackson Hole.

Here’s what Teton told us about the making of this film:

“Jackson Hole brings people from all over that have a drive to push themselves on steep challenging terrain. To be able to properly approach all of the burly lines in the areas side country, experience in the areas is almost mandatory. Hyper Focus started with a concept rooted in that fact.

After living in Jackson for several years, I wanted to take all of the knowledge and experience I’d acquired over that period of time and create a short film that pushed boundaries. I set out to ski these iconic lines in a way they had never been skied before.

In order to make it happen though, I had to buckle down, shed all distractions and hyper focus on the goal. That motivation, paired with the help from some excellent cinematography from Hayden Lynch, and editing from Morgan Shields, we got it done.

My goal is that people in the ski community can find motivation in this short film and be inspired to hyper focus on their passions, and maybe even push their skiing to the next level!”
