Congratulations to 104-year-old Dorothy Hoffner who became the oldest person to skydive (Guinness World Records verification pending). The lifelong Chicago resident ditched her walker on the runway of an airport in Ottawa, Illinois, and climbed to around 10,000 feet before taking the leap. The expression on her face on the way down made my week 😊

Dorothy broke her own record which she set last year after jumping out of an airplane in the skies of Sweden at 103. Incredibly, she didn’t start skydiving until she was 100 years old and this advice to anyone looking to get involved:

“Skydiving is a wonderful experience, and it’s nothing to be afraid of. Just do it.”

Cheers to Dorothy, proving that age is just a number. Way to go!
